We are delighted to announce expansion of our Freight Forwarding and Project Logistics activities and inform about the opening of our 
new branch of A2 Cargo MMC in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The services provided by our Azerbaijan branch are: international Freight Forwarding by air, sea and road to and from Azerbaijan, customs clearance of goods arriving to and leaving from Azerbaijan, and its capital airport Baku Heydar Aliyev International Airport. We are also providing Importer of Record and local distribution service in Azerbaijan. We are also offering cargo transit to Turkmenistan via Caspian Sea.
Azerbaijan is located in the South Caucasus, Southwestern Asia. A small portion of its territory north of the Caucasus range is located in geographical Europe. It lies on the Caspian Sea in the east, and has borders with Russia, Georgia and Iran. The population of the country is 9.6 M inhabitants, 2012 GDP is U$ 98 billion, or U$ 10.700 per capita.
Azerbaijan is a country of high economic growth, largely attributed to its oil and gas sector. The capital of Azerbaijan Republic is Baku, with population over 2 million. Other larger cities are Ganja and Sumqayit with a population close to 300.000. The language is Azerbaijani, and belongs to the Turkic family.
